The past few months have seen a retirement class unlike any in NBA history. Kobe Bryant had his farewell tour. Tim Duncan said goodbye. Kevin Garnett joined the NBA on TNT crew. Amar’e Stoudemire and Ray Allen bade us farewell. The Hall of Fame Class of 2021 will undoubtedly be the greatest in NBA history, loaded with generational talent and unique players that changed the landscape of the NBA forever.
Two weeks ago, Greg Oden retired, too. Oden was supposed to replace that generation of superstars, not retire with them.
