Nobody has signed a deal this winter with as much deferred money as Max Scherzer got last offseason when he put off half of his $210 million from the Nationals until later. This hot stove season’s prince of never being a pauper is Zack Greinke, with $62.5 million deferred on his $206 million deal with the Diamondbacks.
