After six weeks, the playoff picture is starting to take shape and there are some surprise teams in and out of the conversation.
The season for the Carolina Panthers is in jeopardy after the defending NFC champions fell to 1-5 with a 41-38 loss to the New Orleans Saints. The Panthers were thought to be among the top three teams in the NFC entering the season, along with the Arizona Cardinals and Green Bay Packers. The Cardinals are sitting at 2-3 before Monday night's game against the New York Jets. The Packers started 3-1, but their NFL-leading rush defense was gashed Sunday.
