For the second consecutive week, NASCAR will have a full 40-car field for its Sprint Cup race.
Weeks of races started with fewer than the maximum ended when stock car racing returned from its three-week swing through western states. This week at Texas, drivers will go through qualifying to set the lineup without risk of losing their chance to race.

Qualifying for this week's Duck Commander 500 at Texas Motor Speedway begins at 2:45 p.m. ET. Friday includes qualifying for the week's Xfinity Series race, the O'Reilly Auto Parts 300.
