Big Hoss, already the Guinness World Record holder, will expand by 2,071 square feet with a "ribbon-style, high-definition" scoreboard addition to the bottom of the massive screen "for fans to follow the lap count, running order and more for its NASCAR and INDYCAR events," Texas Motor Speedway announced Monday.
From the track's release: "The scoreboard is being built as a technological advancement to the traditional electronic scoring pylons used at speedways, including at Texas Motor Speedway, where the 110-foot tall scoring pylons situated in Turns 1 and 4 will be removed.
