Texas Longhorns score talented former Stanford WR from transfer portal

Texas has signed a key target from the transfer portal. Former Stanford wide receiver Emmett Mosley V has committed to the Longhorns. The 6'2" freshman made his decision soon after visiting Austin this weekend.

Before choosing to go to Stanford, Mosely was a three-star recruit in the 2024 class. He received offers from Alabama, Notre Dame, Texas A&M, USC, Georgia, LSU, and Penn State. Mosley entered the portal on April 3 after Stanford fired coach Troy Taylor on March 25. The transfer portal opens for 30 days whenever a head coach leaves their program, allowing athletes to leave and decide on their future, according to NCAA guidelines.
