Some Texas Longhorns boosters are not only ready to move on from Charlie Strong, they have a definite replacement in mind: Houston coach Tom Herman.
ESPN reported Saturday sources say prominent boosters are putting "extreme pressure" on administrators to hire Herman, whose stock is at an all-time high following Houston's 36-10 upset win over No. 5 Louisville Thursday night.

Herman is 22-3 at Houston and has a 9-2 this season.
Strong remains on the hot seat as the Longhorns (5-5) head into their next-to-last game Saturday afternoon at Kansas.
