Texas A&M wide receiver Speedy Noil was suspended indefinitely Tuesday following his arrest on marijuana possession charges.
Noil turned himself in to College Station police after a warrant was issued for his arrest. He was charged with processing less than 2 ounces of marijuana, the Houston Chronicle reported. Noil posted $2,000 bond and was released.
According to a probable cause statement from police, the warrant was issued in response to an incident Friday in which police were called to Noil's apartment for a noise complaint. Noil opened the door when police knocked, but would not allow the responding officer to enter and became defensive and uncooperative.
