Houston Texans right tackle Derek Newton left Monday night’s game against the Denver Broncos with a knee injury.
Newton suffered tore both patella tendons and could have sustained more damage, according to NFL Media's Ian Rapoport.

The injury came on the third drive of the game. He did not play in last week's game against the Indianapolis Colts due to an ankle injury.
The Texans turned to Chris Clark as his replacement.
The Texans entered Monday night's game with a 4–2 record.
