Texans' Nico Collins Eyes '1,500 Yards Minimum' After Breakout Year, $72.75M Contract

Nico Collins isn't satisfied after his breakout 2023 season and $72.8 million contract extension.

The Houston Texans wide receiver said he's looking to hit the 1,500-yard barrier in 2024.

"I'm trying to get 1,500 yards, minimum. That's what I'm chasing," Collins told ESPN's DJ Bien-Aime. "I'm chasing the dudes that I've been watching for years. Julio Jones, Calvin Johnson, Larry Fitzgerald, successful receivers that made the game look so easy."

Collins recorded 80 receptions for 1,297 yards and eight touchdowns in 2023, more than doubling his career totals in every category. He inked a three-year, $72.
