Almost immediately after surging across the goal line and dropping the Pittsburgh Steelers into a two-touchdown deficit in the second quarter of Sunday’s game, Cincinnati Bengals running back Jeremy Hill traversed the rear of the end zone and encountered a yellow piece of cloth resting on the ground.
How it came to be there is uncertain, but there is little doubt what Hill’s proper course of action would have been at that point: move along, Jeremy.
They never learn, though.
Hill instead did what several others did before. His method was unique; Hill tried to rip it, failed, then threw it to the turf.
