Terrance Knighton: Muhammad Wilkerson should be a top-five paid player in the NFL

In five NFL seasons, New York Jets defensive end Muhammad Wilkerson has played all but three games. He has racked up 301 tackles, 36.5 sacks, 21 passes defenses, and 10 forced fumbles. He's made only one Pro Bowl, but he's been named a Second-Team All-Pro twice. He also ranks eighth among all defensive players in Pro-Football-Reference's Approximate Value during that time.

In other words: he's really, really good. He also has a big fan in one of his rivals, Terrance Knighton, who signed with the Patriots this offseason.

"I think [Wilkerson] should be one of the top five paid players in the NFL," Knighton said, per NFL.
