Midwest Region No. 2 seed Tennessee (29-7) will play a rivalry game Friday in the NCAA Tournament Sweet 16. The Vols will face No. 3 seed Kentucky (24-11) at Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis, Indiana.
Friday's contest will mark the third meeting between the Vols and Wildcats during the 2024-25 basketball season, and the first game in the series all time in the NCAA Tournament.
Kentucky defeated Tennessee, 78-73, on Jan. 28 at Food City Center, and the second contest was a, 75-64, win for the Wildcats at Rupp Arena on Feb.
