Before big Tennessee rivalry games, one fan paints his father's grave in the school's famous checkered pattern.
Jamie Beckler, who lives in east Tennessee, spray paints his father's grave with the orange and white checkers, which takes about an hour and a half and lasts a couple of months.
“God, family, and Tennessee football. Pretty much how it’s always been,” he told WATE.com.

Beckler's father, Rickey, died from pancreatic cancer in 2008. A lifelong Tennessee fan, the younger Beckler thought painting his father's gravesite was a better idea than just bringing him flowers.
