Former NFL quarterback and head coach Ted Marchibroda died Saturday at the age of 84.
Indianapolis Colts vice chair/owner Carlie Irsay-Gordon broke the news of his death on Twitter:

Marchibroda played four seasons in the NFL with the Pittsburgh Steelers and Chicago Cardinals from 1953-57, throwing for 16 touchdowns in 30 games.
After his playing career ended following the 1957 season, he took a four-year sabbatical from the game before transitioning into coaching.
