NEW YORK — Two years ago, while playing in a scrimmage for Team USA, Paul George suffered a broken leg.
The injury cost George almost an entire season with the Pacers, but when his country came calling again to ask him to play, he did not hesitate to join up with the team that will represent America at the Olympics in August. The threat of the Zika virus? That wasn’t going to stop George any more than the memories of what happened in Las Vegas.

“It’s just making sure, being aware of what’s going on with your surroundings and being responsible,” Paul George said.
