Florida junior cornerback Teez Tabor has been suspended from all team activities leading up to and including the season opener against Massachusetts. The discipline is due to "behavior that is not acceptable," according to Gators head coach Jim McElwain.
A true junior, Tabor, who officially changed his first name from Jalen to Teez earlier this summer, is rated as the No. 1 cornerback prospect for the 2017 NFL Draft by NFLDraftScout.com.
Back-up sophomore tight end C'yontai Lewis was also suspended.
"By no means are these bad guys and yet consequences have been handed down," McElwain said in a release.
