Baseball leagues are generally known for its fun, out-there promotions, ranging from unique giveaways to themed jersey nights. One collegiate summer league is taking it a little bit further for "Second Amendment Appreciation Night" on June 22.
Hosted by the Battle Creek Bombers of the Northwoods League (in junction with local gun dealer Freedom Firearms), “Second Amendment Appreciation Night” allows gun owners to unite and celebrate responsible gun ownership.
The Bombers and general manager Tony Iovieno have opted for the term "Second Amendment Education Night," as booths underneath the bleachers will be set up showcasing proper gun education, including activities for kids.
