The wall of suites is officially coming down in Atlanta.
This week, the Hawks, in conjunction with the city officials, announced a nearly $200 million renovation of Philips Arena.

The arena opened in 1999 with multiple levels of suites all stacked on the facility's west side. It's unique in the NBA. Most arenas have suites ringing the seating bowl.
Under the plan for $192.5 million in upgrades, the suite wall will be torn down and skyboxes will be distributed around the inner bowl, similar to other big league arenas.
