Subban's slash broke player's wrist

Rookie Mark Stone, who helped carry the Ottawa Senators into the playoffs, could be sitting out after a Game 1 slash from Montreal Canadiens defenseman P.K. Subban.

"Mark Stone has suffered a microfracture of his right wrist & his availability for the series is unknown at this time," the Senators announced on their Twitter feed.

The slash occurred in the second period of Wednesday's 4-3 Canadiens win and led to Subban's ejection. Stone returned later in the period and also left in the third period before returning.

Subban looks like he'll escape disciplinary scrutiny over the slash with no hearing scheduled as of 10 a.
