Kohler (United States) (AFP) - Scott Piercy was the latest new name atop the PGA Championship leaderboard on Friday, joining overnight leader Dustin Johnson on six-under early in the second round as David Lingmerth faded.
Lingmerth, who started the day one adrift, had gone two strokes clear after birdies at three of his first five holes with Johnson still to tee off at Whistling Straits.
But the Swede's fortunes changed abruptly with a double-bogey at the par-three seventh followed by bogeys at eight and nine.
