Steve Kerr jokes 'millennial' Warriors were sidetracked in loss to Lakers

Like a walking millennial stereotype, a lapse in focus Sunday temporarily sidetracked the Warriors from their avant-garde pursuit of breaking the NBA's all-time single-season win total.

That's how coach Steve Kerr summed up a historically stunning and all-around ugly 112-95 loss to the last-place Lakers in Los Angeles. Speaking to reporters following the game, Kerr opened the session with a sarcastic, “Well, that was fun,” and wryly attributed the upset to the Warriors' relatively youthful roster of players and their "zero attention span."

“This team is filled with millennials, and millennials can’t focus,” Kerr said, via SFgate.
