Warriors star Stephen Curry has received platelet-rich plasma treatment as he continues the recovery process from the sprained right knee he suffered in the first-round of the NBA playoffs, according to a report in the San Jose Mercury News. He sustained a Grade 1 MCL sprain during Game 4 against the Rockets on April 24.
Curry wants to return for Game 3 of Golden State’s second-round series Saturday at the Trail Blazers. The Warriors have a 2-0 lead in the series and have beaten Portland handily in Games 1 and 2, so there’s probably not a huge rush to get Curry back on the floor.
