Klay Thompson came into Friday's game against the Mavericks needing two 3-pointers to hit 1,000 for his career.
The Warrriors guard hit his two in the first quarter, becoming the second-fastest player to reach that benchmark behind — you guessed it — teammate Stephen Curry.
