Ben Roethlisberger and Cam Newton are two of the biggest quarterback's in the NFL.
Both are 6-5 and about 250 pounds. Since the Carolina Panthers selected Newton with the No. 1 overall pick in the 2011 NFL Draft, he has been sacked 201 times. Roethlisberger, the 11th overall pick by the Pittsburgh Steelers in the 2004 draft, has been sacked 450 times over his career, including 176 sacks since 2011.
Newton doesn't feel like he's getting the protection from officials that other quarterbacks receive. Newton said he doesn't "feel safe" on the field anymore, especially after two helmet-to-helmet hits in the season opener against the Denver Broncos were not flagged and Arizona Cardinals defensive lineman Calais Campbell fell into Newton's knees in Sunday's Week 8 game at Bank of America Stadium.
