The Pittsburgh Steelers may be eyeing a potential Day 2 quarterback, as Syracuse standout QB prospect Kyle McCord visited with the Black and Gold on Monday.

In 2023, McCord took over as the starting QB for Ohio State and threw for 3,170 passing yards, 24 TDs, and six INTs — earning third-team All-Big Ten Conference recognition.

The true gem of his collegiate career came in 2024, however, when he set an ACC conference record and led all of college football with 4,799 passing yards in just 13 games — an impressive 367.6 YPG.

McCord's pre-draft, top-30 visit also included blazing-fast Tennessee RB prospect Jaydon Blue and experienced Minnesota CB prospect Justin Walley.
