Since the end of the regular season, we've gone through three phases with the Pittsburgh Steelers in relation to the 2025 NFL draft. First up, it was a foregone conclusion the Steelers were going to draft a wide receiver. Specifically, it was going to be Ohio State's Emeka Egbuka.
However, just before the start of free agency, the Steelers pulled off a huge trade with the Seattle Seahawks to bring in wide receiver DK Metcalf and this changed up the plan. Phase two was a free-for-all. There was no consensus about the position at all with some going cornerback, some going defensive tackle and others going running back.
