It's almost here.
After months of offseason work, and days of practicing and qualifying laps and then qualifying races at Daytona International Speedway, NASCAR's biggest race is fast approaching and the starting lineup is set.

Entering Thursday's Duel qualifying races, only rookie Chase Elliott and veteran Matt Kenseth were assured of their set starting spots. Kenseth will officially start second, but will have to drop to the rear of the field at the start after going to a backup car following a wreck Thursday night.
