Sri Lanka wins toss, bowls against India in Champions Trophy

LONDON (AP) Sri Lanka won the toss and chose to bowl first against India in Champions Trophy cricket on Thursday at The Oval.

The match will start and remain under cloud. Showers are in the forecast.

Defending champion India is playing the same team which beat Pakistan by 124 runs on Sunday.

Sri Lanka captain and allrounder Angelo Mathews, who missed the opening loss to South Africa, was playing, along with allrounders Danushka Gunathilaka and Thisara Perera. They replace suspended vice-captain Upul Tharanga, injured batsman Chamara Kapugedera, and allrounder Seekkuge Prasanna.
