Sprint Cup teams hit the road less traveled on Friday to prepare for racing at Sonoma. A full 40-car field prepares for Sunday's Toyota/Save Mart 350 at Sonoma Raceway.
It's one of two races on a road course; the other goes off at Watkins Glen on Aug. 7.

Practices are scheduled for 3 p.m. ET and 6:30 p.m. ET (subtract three hours for Pacific time) on Friday. Qualifying begins at 2:15 p.m. ET Friday, with Sunday's race starting after 3 p.
