Sprint Cup starting lineup at Dover won't dictate finish; rain, wrecks might

In May, Matt Kenseth started a Dover Sprint Cup race from 10th on the grid, thanks to qualifying being rained out. He won. Pole-sitter Kevin Harvick finished 15th.

Last year, Harvick started the third Chase race from 15th on the grid, also after Dover qualifying was rained out. He won. Pole-sitter Kenseth was seventh.

Sunday, Brad Keselowski will start from pole position after a third consecutive rainout of Dover qualifying. Care to guess who won't win if the pattern continues?

There's probably no correlation in the three races' results after rainouts. If there is, it's an anomaly and a curiosity, that's all.
