Joey Logano beat Chase Elliott off a restart with eight laps to go to win the FireKeepers Casino 400 at Michigan International Speedway on Sunday. It is the season's first win for Logano.
Elliott was tough in his quest to become the first rookie to win at Michigan, leading 35 of the 200 laps. Logano, though, was dominant, as he led 138 laps during Sunday's race.
"We've been knocking on the door for a win all season," Logano said in his post-race interview on Fox Sports 1. "We got the All-Star win, but it's nice to get that win and lock ourselves into the Chase.
