But on a blistering day where temperatures reached the mid-90s, no one was hotter than Kyle Busch. The reigning Sprint Cup champion led 149 of the 170 laps to win the Crown Royal Presents the Combat Wounded Coalition 400 at the Brickyard.
It marked the fourth Sprint Cup victory this season for Busch, and his 38th career win.
Busch won the race from the pole, giving him a historic weekend double, as he also won Saturday's Xfnity Series race from the pole.
