Sprint Cup drivers worried about weather, possible rainout at Charlotte

CONCORD, N.C. — Pole-sitter Martin Truex Jr. was fast again Saturday during practice for Sunday's Coca-Cola 600.

But like most drivers in the 40-car field, Truex is worried about one thing — weather.

"I think we're OK," Truex said. "This place is tricky and it's hard to tell. You practice in the daytime and you hopefully race tomorrow night. It looks like we might race Monday, so a lot of guesswork going on right now."

The Coca-Cola 600, NASCAR's longest race, is scheduled to go green at 6:15 p.m. ET, but rain is in the forecast all day.
