Jamie Greubel-Poser and Cherelle Garrett of the United States posted the fastest time in both runs to win the gold medal in a women’s World Cup bobsled race at Lake Placid, N.Y.
Greubel-Poser and Garrett finished in 1 minute 53.48 seconds. The reigning Olympic champion Kaillie Humphries and Melissa Lotholz of Canada were second in 1:53.91.
The Americans Steven Holcomb and Carlo Valdes later won the two-man race, and Annie O’Shea of the United States won the skeleton gold medal.
