Sports Briefing | Track and Field: Nestlé Pulls Sponsorship

The food and beverage giant Nestlé on Wednesday told the International Association of Athletics Federations, track and field’s governing body, that it had terminated its sponsorship of federation programs over fears that the doping scandal engulfing the I.A.A.F. could damage the company’s image. The announcement came as the sportswear company Adidas remained in talks with the I.A.A.F. about its handling of the scandal.
