Dick Pound, an author of the report that detailed corruption in Russia’s antidoping efforts, told a World Anti-Doping Agency meeting in Colorado Springs that he believed the country’s track team could still make it to the Rio de Janeiro Olympics next year.
Pound said that for a country that essentially built Sochi in seven years to host the 2014 Olympics, cleaning up the problem would be “child’s play.”
