The former Jet Kellen Winslow Jr. and the current Jet Antonio Cromartie engaged in a Twitter squabble Wednesday. Winslow took exception when Cromartie, a cornerback, put his teammate Dee Milliner on the spot during an interview Tuesday when he took a microphone and asked if Milliner thought he was “on the roster bubble.”
Milliner answered the question posed by Cromartie, who recently took part in the N.F.L.’s four-day broadcasting boot camp and was half-jokingly repeating speculation by some fans and members of the news media. Milliner, the No. 9 overall draft pick in 2013, does not appear to be in jeopardy of losing his job.
