Smylie Kaufman won the Shriners Hospitals for Children Open in his fifth PGA Tour start, shooting a 10-under-par 61 to finish at 16-under 268 at T.P.C. Summerlin in Las Vegas.

u25a0 Lydia Ko, 18, sank a 30-yard pitch for eagle on the par-5 12th hole and finished with a seven-under-par 65 for a nine-stroke victory at the L.P.G.A. Taiwan Championship in Taipei. Ko regained the No. 1 spot in the world rankings. So Yeon Ryu and Eun-Hee Ji tied for second.
