A Chicago high school football player has died after sustaining injuries during a game on Thursday. Chicago Public School officials said that the player, Andre Smith, 17, had died after being taken by ambulance to a hospital in critical condition. Smith was injured while playing for Bogan High School against Chicago Vocational Career Academy. It was not revealed what injuries he had sustained.
