Gov. Mark Dayton of Minnesota helped announce a bid for the 2020 College Football Playoff National Championship for the still-incomplete stadium going up in downtown Minneapolis. A decision on the game’s site is expected in October. To date, the January game has been awarded to only warm-weather cities.
