Washington Nationals reliever Aaron Barrett, who is recovering from Tommy John surgery, said his elbow problems had stemmed from overuse. Barrett appeared in 30 of Washington’s first 60 games last season. He estimated that during that time, he was also told to warm up in the bullpen during 15 games he did not enter.
