Jeff Gordon will race for a fifth Cup championship in his final Nascar season, in large part because Matt Kenseth knocked out both of Roger Penske’s cars before Gordon won the Goody’s Headache Relief Shot 500 at Martinsville Speedway in Virginia. Kenseth acted on his three-week grudge against Joey Logano by intentionally wrecking Logano as Logano tried to win for the fourth consecutive race. Gordon held off Jamie McMurray in the final two laps.
