The family of a driver who was struck and killed by the Nascar star Tony Stewart’s car on an upstate New York sprint racing track filed a wrongful-death lawsuit against Stewart. The suit accuses him of gross negligence and says he gunned his engine and put his car into a skid as Kevin Ward Jr., 20, walked onto the track after a crash at the sprint track, Canandaigua Motorsports Park, on Aug. 9, 2014.
