The NCAA last summer handed down a lengthy notice of allegations to Southern Miss after a months-long investigation into Tyndall's two-season tenure at the school. According to the NCAA, Tyndall and his staff engaged in academic fraud and provided improper financial aid, then attempted to obstruct an investigation of the allegations.
