When the University of South Carolina watched the torrential rains in Louisiana this week, a flood of memories came back — and the school knew it had to help its SEC friends in Baton Rouge.
That's because last fall, as South Carolina dealt with historic flooding across the state, it was LSU that came to the rescue.

This week, the University of South Carolina has organized an on-campus drive to collect items that it will send to victims of Louisiana's historic floods that have killed at least five and displaced thousands.
