With the new "First Take" duo of Stephen A. Smith and Max Kellerman off to a solid start, there's a question of how many viewers will tune in to watch ex-First Take ringmaster Skip Bayless' new FS1 show this fall.
But Jamie Horowitz, president of Fox Sports National Networks, tells me he's not worried whether Bayless can hold his own against his former sparring partner Smith. Bayless will have been off the air all summer by the time his new show debuts Sep. 6 in the same time slot as "First Take."
Out of sight usually means out of mind in TV.
