SEATTLE — The Seattle Storm moved into the WNBA’s eighth and final playoff position with a win Saturday over Atlanta.
But closing quickly in the rear-view mirror are the Chicago Sky, the team the Storm will host on Tuesday night at KeyArena.
The Sky (6-13), which got off to a slow start after trading All-Star Elena Delle Donne to Washington in the offseason, had a three-game winning streak snapped Sunday with a 112-106 double-overtime loss at Dallas.
Center Stefanie Dolson had a career-high 26 points and 10 rebounds in the loss and was named Monday as the Eastern Conference’s player of the week.
