Skiing starlet Lindsey Vonn secures yet another downhill title

Lindsey Vonn secured a record-breaking eighth FIS Alpine Skiing World Cup downhill title and moved back into pole position for a fifth overall crystal globe with a second-placed finish in La Thuile.

Italy's Nadia Fanchini nipped Vonn by 0.14 seconds on Saturday to claim her second World Cup victory, with another home favorite, Daniela Merighetti, completing the podium.
