Odyssey Sims had 27 points and 7 assists on Saturday night to help the Tulsa Shock beat the Liberty, 81-76, at Madison Square Garden.
Tulsa had lost 10 straight games, and the Liberty, who lead the Eastern Conference, had won four straight and nine of their last 10.
Sims made 15 of 16 free throws. Riquna Williams had 15 points, and Karima Christmas added 11.
Brittany Boyd led the Liberty (16-7) with 22 points, and Tina Charles added 13 points and 8 rebounds.
The Shock (11-14) put together an 11-2 run at the start of the second half — including a 3-pointer by Christmas — to open a 20-point lead.
